Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Sup AI mobile application and website at supaiapp.com, operated by Rhys Buttle, a sole trader based in England and Wales ("Sup AI", "we", "us", "our").

By creating an account or using Sup AI you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Sup AI. By creating an account you confirm that you are 16 or over. We use a date-of-birth check at registration to verify this.

If we discover that an account belongs to a user under 16 we will immediately suspend and permanently delete that account and all associated data without notice.

2. What Sup AI Is — And Is Not

Sup AI is a general wellness and supplement information app. It is designed to help you track your supplement intake, learn about supplements, and receive AI-generated wellness suggestions based on your health data.

Sup AI is NOT:

• A medical device
• A medical service or healthcare provider
• A substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment
• A pharmacy or regulated health service
• Regulated by the MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency)

The AI-generated recommendations in Sup AI are for general wellness information purposes only. They are not medical advice. Always consult a qualified doctor, pharmacist or healthcare professional before starting, changing or stopping any supplement regimen, or making health decisions based on information from this app.

Supplements are not regulated as medicines in the United Kingdom. Their safety, quality and efficacy are not guaranteed by any regulatory authority. Sup AI does not endorse any specific supplement brand or product.

3. The Sup AI Service

3.1 What We Provide

• A supplement tracking and logging tool
• AI-generated wellness suggestions based on your health data and goals
• Integration with Garmin and Apple Health to read your biometric data
• Supplement reminders and scheduling (delivered locally on your device)
• Health data visualisation and trend analysis

3.2 AI-Generated Content

The Ask AI feature uses Claude AI, a large language model created by Anthropic. Responses are generated in real time and personalised to your health context.

• AI responses may contain errors or inaccuracies
• AI responses are not reviewed by medical professionals
• AI responses are not a substitute for professional advice
• Sup AI does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or suitability of any AI-generated content
• You use AI-generated content entirely at your own risk
• Every AI response includes a disclaimer reminding you that the content is general wellness information only

4. Your Account

4.1 Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account, at privacy@supaiapp.com

4.2 Age Verification

We use a date-of-birth check at registration. If you provide a false date of birth to circumvent our age restriction, you are in breach of these Terms and your account may be terminated immediately.

4.3 Account Termination by You

You may delete your account at any time in Settings > Account > Delete Account. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. All your data will be deleted within 30 days, except payment records which are retained for 7 years as required by law.

4.4 Account Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if you breach these Terms, attempt to abuse or circumvent AI query limits, use the app in any way that could cause harm, or are found to be under 16 years of age.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

5.1 Free Plan

Available to all registered users. Includes up to 5 AI queries per day, basic supplement tracking, and Garmin/Apple Health sync.

5.2 Pro Plan

Available at £9.99/month or £79.99/year.

• Free trial: 7 days free. No charge during the trial period. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
• After the trial, your chosen subscription price is charged automatically.
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
• Cancel any time through App Store Settings > Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Pro access until then.
• Refunds are governed by Apple's refund policy for iOS purchases. We do not process refunds directly — contact Apple Support for refund requests.
• We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price increase by email and in-app notification.

5.3 Payment Processing

All payments in the iOS app are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not see or store your payment card details.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Sup AI for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to bypass daily AI query limits through any technical means
• Enter false health data to manipulate AI recommendations
• Attempt to extract harmful information from the AI system
• Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the app
• Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the app
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Share your account credentials with others

7. Intellectual Property

All content in Sup AI — including the name, logo, design, text, graphics, AI system prompts, and software — is owned by Rhys Buttle and is protected by UK and international intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any content from Sup AI without our prior written permission.

Your personal data (supplement logs, health data, AI conversations) remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Health & Safety

Supplements can interact with prescription medications. Some supplements are contraindicated in certain medical conditions. Always check with your doctor or pharmacist before starting any supplement, particularly if you:

• Take any prescription medication
• Have any diagnosed medical condition
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Have a history of allergic reactions to supplements or their ingredients
• Are undergoing surgery (many supplements should be stopped 2 weeks before surgery)

If you experience any adverse reaction to a supplement recommended or tracked in Sup AI, stop taking it immediately and seek medical advice. Report adverse reactions to the MHRA at yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sup AI is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• That the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure
• That AI-generated content will be accurate, complete or suitable for your circumstances
• That supplement recommendations will improve your health or wellness

Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rhys Buttle shall not be liable for:

• Any health outcomes resulting from supplement use based on AI recommendations
• Any loss or damage arising from reliance on AI-generated content
• Any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages
• Any loss of data, profits, goodwill or business opportunity

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Sup AI shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £50, whichever is greater.

These limitations do not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email and in-app notification at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of Sup AI after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those Terms.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Sup AI are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We will always try to resolve any dispute informally first. If you have a complaint, please contact us at legal@supaiapp.com and we will do our best to resolve it within 14 working days.
